My first western novel, The Bounty Hunters, was inspired by the Spaghetti Western films I used to watch as a child. It came to me during a sleepless night. I could not get to sleep for two or three hours and by the time I did fall asleep the story was fully formed in my mind. That weekend I typed up the skeleton of the story and over the next few weeks developed it more fully. As I did so I came to realise that there was more to the story and it has evolved into several novels.
The Bounty Hunters is the first book in the series that I wrote but it is not the first in the Chronology, that is In Cold Blood.
The series is about a pair of bounty hunter cousins who become alienated and then meet up again by chance a few months later and the suspicions that arise as a consequence, especially as one is there on a mission to catch a notorious gang of outlaws.

There are also two short stories in the series; Outlaw's Reprieve and Johnny Rebel.
This is the order in which I wrote the stories, including the short stories.
